MIGRATIONS OF NORDIC GREYLAG GEESE

The migration pattern for different Nordic Greylag Goose populations was analysed and published in the final report from the Nordic Greylag Goose Project (Anderson et al. 2001). The main findings for the three major marking areas SW Scania, Norway and Södermanland are found in the following pages. The presentation here is based on the published report, which can be obtained from the reporting adress. When new analyses are undertaken the homepage will be regularly updated with the most recent information.

In 2004 marking staretd at a new site at Lake Hornborgasjön in south Sweden. The results from these markings will also be presented in these pages.
