Welcome! We are interested in many problems in ecology and evolution, although our current focus is the adaptive significance of colour patterns in animals, including developmental consequences and genetic correlations with colour. Past and current model organisms in our laboratory include vertebrates (lizards), insects and isopods. Research methods employed include longitudinal field studies of populations, field and laboratory experiments and quantitative genetic approaches. Please contact us if you have any questions or if you wish to perform some collaborative research.
